Healing Waters is a San Francisco-based nonprofit organization whose mission is to empower inspire and enrich the lives of people challenging HIV/AIDS through wilderness adventures. They have three cooks per trip who help prepare all the meals during the trip. To become a cook go online and fill out their information form about yourself and your cooking skills.
Since 1996 they have working to improve the lives of victims of HIV/AIDS through these wilderness adventures.
They provide an emotion
ally and physically safe environment in the outdoors for individuals to take a moment to celebrate living, community and challenge their own beliefs about their strengths and abilities.
