Alzheimer’s Services of the East Bay

The Alzheimer’s Services of the East Bay mission is to enhance the client’s quality of life and to ease the family’s burden of caring for the individual with dementia.  Volunteers play a key role and are used in all aspects of the program.  Possible ways to get involved are:  conduct small group activities, lead exercises, meal preparation, offer companionship  organize holiday celebrations, or offer any special skills that you may have (music gardening  etc.). Volunteers need to attend an orientation and training and have a TB screening.  The minimum age is 14.
