Project Open Hand provides food and nourishment to improve the quality of life of men, women and children living with symptomatic AIDS & HIV, the critically ill, and the elderly. They need help working in the kitchen, delivering meals and working in the grocery center.

Their mission is to provide a warm and welcoming environment through their comforting meals to those who are suffering with their disabilities.

Everyday, they prepare nutritious meals and provide 2500 bags of healthy groceries to help sustain their clients as they battle serious illnesses, isolation, or the health challenges of aging.

They serve San Francisco and Alameda Counties, engaging more than 125 volunteers every day to nourish our community.
